This webinar discusses all aspects of the GEM CMS-02 Machine Monitoring solution from Marposs –componentry, operating principle, installation options, various application examples, and benefits to the user. The CMS-02 collision monitoring and crash damage mitigation solution employs a strain sensor to detect irregularities in the production process by measuring elastic deformation in the range of 0.1 µ, and slowly and dynamically increasing forces which have damage potential. It then reacts very quickly - in a range of 1 millisecond -- sending a stop signal helping to alleviate or even eliminate machine crashes that can result in high repair costs and long down times.
